In the interview, Yoshitake discusses the scientific background and competitive advantages of J-Pharma’s drug discovery activities targeting L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1), as well as the potential of nanvuranlat (development code: JPH203), a LAT1 inhibitor currently being evaluated in a global Phase III clinical trial for advanced biliary tract cancer.
