Haruki Kusaka received the award because he has been involved in all aspects of the development of nanvuranlat, built the organization and system from scratch and executed them as an integral manager, and because he gained the trust of investigators and promoted the clinical trial, which resulted in an academic presentation as a first-in-class drug development.
